Korea Getaway~ ♥ Part One ♥

「18-19 December 2013」

The day i looked forward to ever since we booked the trip with the tour agency.

Initial plan was to work full day then rush back home, but realised that it may be a little too rush since there's still last min packing not done. So i was like "Hey, why not ask whether i can use that 1/2 day leave from the add-on Deepavali leave (that was supposed to be used up by end November but i couldn't finish it up since i only took 1/2 day on my birthday.) and tadah, i manage to take half day that day.

Instead of going straight home, i went up to xiaohuai's house first then head home at about 3pm.

Flight was at 11pm, need to be at airport at about 9pm, and then we reached at about 7pm since we needed to eat dinner first before the flight.

Flight got delayed for about an hour before we could actually get on.

What happened on flight was that.. i almost instantly fell asleep before take off and got woken up by my brother for food. Had Bibimbap instead of the Korean style noodle. and then i vividly remembered that i was watching Secretly and Greatly then off to lalaland.

The next thing i knew was this pretty scenery that greeted us when we landed.

It was about 6am plus when we landed and reach S.Korea Incheon Airport.

The first thing we did after getting off the plane was to get ourselves into warm comfy clothes because we don't exactly know how cold the weather was outside, since there's heater operating in the airport (and of course all indoor places).

We were greeted by our local tour guide, Jeff, then we were dispersed for our own breakfast in the airport since there's still people who have not changed into their winter clothes.

The dad and I wanted to go out of the airport to snap picture with the snow before we get our breakfast, but we only realised that the open area was some distance away after getting out, so we head back in without snapping any photos.

The very next thing that caught my attention..

First breakfast in S.Korea.

Head over to Paju Premium factory outlet first

and saw cute korean kids with their teachers out on a field trip

Had Ginseng Chicken Soup before we go shopping at Dongdaemun. There's really no Ginseng taste and smell for the Ginseng Chicken Soup! But... it's really not that nice to my liking except the soup. Or maybe it's because i'm still full from the MacDonald Breakfast. Major loves their kimchi!!

Initial itinerary plan was to go 경복궁(Gyeongbok Palace, 景福宮) after Paju Premium factory outlet, but Jeff thought that we shld change it to some other days since it's really cold and windy over there that day. Thus we head over to Dongdaemun Market for some shopping before catching the flight to Jeju Island.

Off we fly to Jeju Island~

Dinner was Japanese food over at Jeju Island.

and then we had the chance to try out live octopus at the restaurant, but obviously I don't dare to. But daddy and another uncle from our group tried it!

That's my daddy enjoying the live octopus! He actually ate twice since nobody dares to try it. LOL!

Check in to the hotel after dinner, and my family decides to head out of the hotel after putting our things. Our hotel was located at town thus there's quite a lot of shops there, but the prices were kinda pricey, and that they could be cheaper if bought at Seoul.

What we saw when walking around.

In the end, we bought some snacks at the mini mart opposite the hotel. Bought 쌍쌍바 to try it out, but fell asleep after bathing and was left in the mini fridge which i thought i could have eaten it the next day. Later did we rmb that there's no electricity running in the room after taking out the card and my poor ice cream all melted. Didn't even have a taste of it. :/

Loots of the day/

The 3 ice creams all ended up in the rubbish bin. :(

So that's very much what happened the first 2 days. Stay tune for more updates on my trip to Korea~

안녕!!

Be healthy, Goodbye :)
사랑해요
