Korea Getaway~ ♥ Part Four ♥

「22 December 2013」

Breathtaking view to start our morning where we had our breakfast.. Jeff told us that our breakfast place will have really pretty view, of course have to take camera with me. hehe.

But then it's kinda useless, couldn't really capture anything at all. Still, it's really really pretty..

Quoting from G.E.M 鄧紫棋「照片的作用本來就只是提醒你什麼時候發生了什麼事。生命的每一刻都只有親身感受才懂得有多珍貴。美麗只能用心去捕捉,也只能用心去永遠保存。」

First stop after breakfast was to rent our skiing equipment and attire. Got the clothes and changed right there, oh well it was just putting on more clothes without our jeans and outer coat. LOL! Of course, to rent our goggles (that's i think a waste of money because it's so bulky and heavy and destroy the pretty scenery with weird colours) andand, the people helping out at the store (helping to match the size of clothes for us) looks really really young!

After everyone's done, we went to have lunch.. meats and more meats.. and everyone smells like meat after leaving that place because there's actually bbq corner behind us. LOL!

and it was after lunch there that i realised something amazing and shocking even to myself~ The one that seems to be the oldest of the biggest family in our tour group (Oh well, it's because the other 3-4 families in our tour group definitely is too young that everyone's eyes can tell la! but sadly aren't even the oldest because he got an older sister) is actually the same age as my brother.. -.-" They are the 96-liners and both studying in Ngee Ann Poly now. totally shocked me.. and the most shocking of the shocking news is that, im actually the oldest (for our generation) in the entire tour group (right, im even older than his sister!). But yeah, it actually shocks everyone in the tour group when they realised it. HAHAHA! Oh well, people thought im still schooling like maybe in Secondary school or Poly year 1. *so proud* hahahaha!

My dad was talking to his uncle and then that's how everyone starts to talk and all.

Yes, i got the most favourite colour for my coat! hehe. makes me so happy~ Of course must selca with it. :D

Before Jeff starts teaching.. It means.. Photo time~ For memory sake, a family photo.. LOL.

and selca~

also the think-im-a-pro pose.

Lesson begins.. He's totally a very good instructor. Learn how to ski in just a very short while.. Then we had our free time.. So.. Let the fun begins..

Skiing thoughts... It's way too tiring to get back up the slope, but definitely fun going down.. hahahaha. Going down in less than a minute but spend more than double the time going back up.

It was almost time to return the equipments and go back to the hotel to get ready for our meet up for the Blue Canyon Waterpark that's near our hotel. Selca first before preparing.. hahaha. Im still in the skiing pants and thought that it's worth to keep as memory. LOL!

The Blue Canyon Waterpark is actually a hot spring resort with water play like wave pool, flow pool, jacuzzi pool, etc... The waterpark doesn't seems like there's heater inside and it's like so super cold when we get out of the water. :/ but the small pool that's outside is definitely great, cooling natural aircon and hot water to dip in. and that's where my brother starts to disappear because he found his "friend" that's studying in the same school. Yeah, they went ahead to try to flow pool (something like the lazy river we have at Wild wild wet/ Adventure cove) because i didn't want to join them as it's way too cold to even go in the flow pool (that water is freaking cold and i would rather stay in water that's hot)

After Blue Canyon Waterpark, refreshed and went down to meet the rest for dinner.. Mushrooms hotpot for dinner. We had so many hotpot for the entire trip, and this had got to be the least favourite for my family. I only eat/likes button mushroom, and this hotpot is definitely not to my liking. Maybe except the tofu and meat inside which is very limited. dots.

and when Jeff came around out table, my dad told him we don't eat these and he was like "HOW?! that's all for dinner leh!" we totally LOL-ed. He being the nicest tour guide ever, gave us some bibimbap that he made for his dinner because he don't want us to starve. It was really really delicious! 감사합니다!!!

After dinner, we were back to the hotel. But being us, it's still too early to sleep. We wanted to go back to the ski place for snow-playing but the temperature dropped a bit too much that night thus it was too cold.. but we went back to the mall that the waterpark was located to have a walk. Found BBQ Chicken and bought a chicken for our supper. they started cooking only when order is made (something me and the dad believes in. lol) and it's really fast, almost no waiting time at all but definitely just came out because it's still freaking hot when we get back to the hotel room. and before we actually get back, we went to their convenient store downstairs (something like our 7-11) and to our surprise, we saw a lot of people from our tour group there too. Everyone's buying things to snack away. haha. Saw rice wine and it's super cheap so we went ahead to buy it.

Oh yes, their BBQ chicken is so unlike Singapore's ones. It's so different but so much more nicer! I bet any store that sells fried chicken in Korea definitely taste hundred/thousand times more than fried chicken sold in Singapore. -.-"

Our view from our hotel room. it's actually quite late already but there's still tons of people skiing.

That's all for the day.. Hope you guys don't get bored of it because there's still more to come~

안녕!!

Be healthy, Goodbye :)
사랑해요
